Confused, inexperienced, lazy or just doesn't care? Seriously though, apparently spiders are born with the inbuilt ability to spin a certain shape of web. In experiments some were "fed" illicit drugs - they produced some very weird webs. This one is not even drugged!
@dkbarnett It would be nice to think that it was wind blown - but I think this was his best shot!! It doesn't look like it would catch much!.The backlighting really let you see his web - would have walked past it otherwise.
@annied Hi Annie - you're right - I hadn't really noticed that little titbit bundled up at the top. I guess abstract does work, and it's certainly different. Cheers Rob
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hey Jackie - this is a very subdued reaction to a spider shot!!! The last lovely spider girl prompted: "hmmmm would depend on her size!! To get this sort of great shot, I'd need a 5000+ telephoto and perhaps be in a city highrise!!" His abstract web may be working - I think he's lured you into a false sense of security!! LOL
