This is an amazing plant which used to belong to my Dad. He just loved it and showed it off with great pleasure. It has huge bulbs which shoot into 2 ft long lily type leaves. These then produce huge (about 8 inches) flower balls - bright orange. Unfortunately, we missed it's flowers this year - they were dead when we got back home. Funnily enough the dead versions were still quite nice.
