@30pics4jackiesdiamond Haaa - I must have messed up the general pattern at the beginning! I was going to do diagonals but it was too hard. Maybe I'm out of step? My red starts on Monday? Then ROYGBPP (pink and purple at the end) This might work OK - we can get a bit of inspiration from each others out of step colours? Maybe?? :)

@robz I know you're half a day ahead but.............................. wondered if I was still jet lagged!!!! What did you do to get theis abstract?? Still struggling
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hi Jackie - this was two layers - one was just the flower in a fancy frame, but it had been made partly transparent from the right to the left. The other was a background pale orange colour which had also been made partly transparent, but with a swirly transparent pattern. Then the two were put over each other. It was all a bit of trial and error with the transparencies to see what worked together. I like using transparencies as they give lots of options - my yellow one today is made much the same way - just the same photo 4 times - each with a total transparency eg maybe 60% transparent.
