This lovely lady (leading the way to the Ladies) is another example for the week 28 activity in the 52 week challenge - Left to Right. In real life she walks in the reverse direction. She looks so much better walking Left to Right.
Great shot for the challenge. Not sure about next week's challenge as it is shooting a twilight. This would mean I would have to go out about 9.30 in the evening and with all the drugs I taken I am usually in bed by then. Think I might have to wait a few weeks till it gets darker earlier.
@fbailey It is FB - it's a very trendy, hipster bar that has a lot of thought put into it's decor - great to visit! Good beer too - so says Errol ( the beer drinker of the family). :)
@sarahlth Hi Sarah - that doesn't sound good at all - you don't want to be doing anything that will affect your health. And then, over here, we don't get much of a twilight - 5 minutes and it's gone from day to night! It sounds like not the best week for either of us! Look after yourself - I'm sure you can just backdate your twilight and it will still count as week 29. Cheers Rob
Definitely left to right. I understand that it seen to be a consequence of our writing going that left to right. In cultures that write right to left there is a preference for left facing. Apparently most logos face right, and your lovely lady would be a sort of logo too I guess. Cheers.
@nobled Thanks for the info Dorothy - a few of us were wondering if different cultures would prefer the other direction. Interesting about logos too! Thanks again. Cheers Rob
Great photo as response to the challenge which has caused some pause for thought in me. I suppose an obvious example is my profile picture, which to me, would look completely wrong if flipped horizontally. But in cultures where writing is right to left - not so. Fascinating topic. I love the idea of the architects 'just' flipping the building round! Anyway, great find.
