A very relaxed population.

This is one small part of the Tivoli Gardens - a very large park in the centre of the Old City. It celebrates its 175th birthday this year. The gardens themselves show their age with very mature trees throughout and very well tended grounds and feature sections. All very people friendly too. But what attracts a lot of people is the amusement park which has been part of the garden for so many years - rides suitable for all ages - from littlies up to mad big people (AKA Anna and Alex!)

Hi Lesley, Suzanne and Taffy - The danes seem to have a wonderful ability to enjoy every part of their gorgeous city - they lounge in the gardens,they do coffee on the streets, they ride everywhere on their bikes, they sunbake on the wharves and they swim in their canals and rivers - they even do cliff diving off the top of their opera house - down into the river!
