This was incredible - it was a gift from an award winning Lebanese artist - it was a visual and acoustic portrayal presented in one of the ancient buildings on Suomenlinna Island. The audience crept in in the dark, across old cobbled and timber floors, and stood where they wished as they became a part of this light and sound interaction between hardship, adversity and
survival.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks Jackie! I'm sorry I haven't been very active on 365 - moving around a bot too fast. We loved Norway and especially Bergen (as you did) - and have now seen Helsinki, Tallin and Riga. Their history is so heartrending - but they are so proud of their "new" independence and just grasping their freedom with both hands. It's wonderful to see. :)
@madeinnl Hi Ko - thanks for having a look - it was so different - quite amazing actually. Sorry to have not been very active on 365! I do appreciate your interest - it's lovely to know that someone is bothering to have a look at what are just "travel" photos!!
