The peat bogland is just beautiful This area is prime foraging country and has only just recently been declared a National Park. The peat and its vegetation is easily damaged so a boardwalk has been constructed to allow access to this beautiful area. Apparently the local population thought it was quite strange to use valuable timber to construct a walkway into the forest that they have used for centuries...
