Love these blooms - not sure about your title though!

Never heard them called that, but it's delightful! Beautifully accomplished without the purples!

Ha, great name. I love these flowers. Super B&W image, light and shade.

Nicely captured- I like the lighting and how it's helping to emphasize the shape of the plant.

Lovely detail in the lighter areas. You might bring out the shadows on right just a tad

@fbailey Hi FB - that's a pretty common name for these over here- at least it was in my Mum's day - probably some of our younger generation wouldn't even know what an Agapanthus was, let alone Aggie's Pants. They are such tough showy plants - great value in our gardens as they are very drought resistant. :)

@Weezilou Thanks Louise - funnily enough it only half opened up - must have been a bit too dry.

@rosie00 Thanks Lesley - the b&w is definitely a skill which requires concentration - still working on it so I appreciate your comment. :)

@olivetreeann Thanks Ann - unfortunately I'm still having to shoot in colour and then convert - the images are very dull otherwise. :)

@jgpittenger Hi Jane - thanks for your suggestion - I had a go on Picmonkey and I think it is better? :)

@golftragic Thanks so much Marnie - still shooting in colour and converting over. The b&w setting on my camera doesn't seem very inspiring.

@fr1da Thanks Frida - it seems to l et you appreciate the shape better without the colour? Interesting isn't it!
