very interesting flower buds. What plant is it ?

@fr1da It's called a Copper Wire daisy. This head is a bit dark because it's been so dry - usually it's very bright yellow and held about 18ins above the ground on a long thin stalk. It has a really nice hairy, grey rosette of leaves - a bit like those "lamb's tongue" plants. It's a very tough little native in this area. :)
