Pink 3 by robz

Pink 3

Note to self - get more pink stuff (or do away with pink and go Indigo!!) before next year.
Like your pink row! Curious what you are going to do with the last pink one :)

I like your bright pink row. I also really like your Saturdays. Did you plan that they all kind of run over into the Saturday before and after. It is a very cool effect.

@jacqbb Hi Jacqueline - I'd actually like to throw all the pink ones away! I don't like that column at all - and it doesn't really fit what I was trying to do. I wanted to have a slight trend in the weight of each column so that there was a general feeling of moving across and up towards the top right hand corner. It seems to have worked in some columns but not others - poor choice of image or image position I guess. When it's all finished I'll try a rearrangement as you mentioned and place them in their normal RoyGBiv positions as you suggested - see if the colours are better in that order. Thanks for your interest and ideas. Cheers Rob

@shutterbug49 Hi Shutterbug - thanks so much for your comment. It's funny how we all like different things - I ended up deciding I didn't like the bright pink one! I'm pleased you liked the blue Saturday column - I was also really pleased with the way that worked - maybe even enough to try a whole month of columns with that effect for next year? Thanks again - cheers Rob

@jacqbb Hi again Jacqueline - I must apologize - my reply to your comment was very rude!! I'm so sorry but I had just finished looking at the overall end result before I read your feedback and I was still thinking about the pink column and how it didn't end up fitting the rest - it's just too different. Sorry to be so abrupt - and I did like him too at the beginning!! Cheers rob :)

Or option 3- turn things that aren't pink into pink by messing around with the color sliders! I am similar to you in that I don't have a lot of pink things and I was never a pink loving girl. This year I've opted to let my little plastic muses help out. Last year I swapped out pink and purple for black in one column and white in the other. The year before that I did brown and black. Who knows what I'll do next year. I have no plans to collect items in colors I have no interest in- haha! Hope you'll find a satisfactory solution to your disappointment with the results.

@robz No worries Rob, in my opinion the pink is very bright but because it’s the same colour it works, and I asked about the sequence of the colours ( I know you answered me) because I really think that could be your sollution.

:) Thanks Jacqueline - I'll post the different version at the end of the month and will look forward to your feedback! Cheers Rob

It’s blue I’m having trouble with. We will have so much blue in another couple of months, but for now I am having to pull old blue photos and doctoring them up somehow.

@robz Now that would be an interesting challenge.

I'm glad I stayed out of this challenge.

@olivetreeann Thanks for your great feedback Ann! I like the way you have just moulded the rainbow challenge to suit your inclination each year - that sounds like a great model to adopt! And I think pink will be the first to go! Cheers Rob :)

@golftragic Lol Marnie - I think you can do anything you want with it - it has been quite a good adventure this year - don't know if the time put in will produce anything worthwhile - but it doesn't really matter! It's been pretty interesting. Cheers Rob
