Beautiful evening mood, must be nice to sit there looking at the river. I like how you combined the beautiful landscape with an interesting foreground. Fan and palm branch are nice additions, they tell me something about the climate.
Hope to enjoy some sunset later today... now its way to hot over here.. its 40C and for Netherlands that is way to much.. so we wait a bit till later when the sun goes down a bit for some pictures :) now its only eating lots of ice till the belly hurts :) great picture Rob..
I only go to ice cream shops to photograph the machinery as well. (o; Great shot- I would just crop off that yellow pole and a little of the window frame on the left. I really like the semi-detail of the foreground against the beautiful sky but I find them distracting. I really like the candid, end of the day feeling of this shot.
@lastrami_ Hi Lastrami - thanks for your detailed comment - it's interesting to read the things that caught your attention - things that we just take for granted. @madeinnl Hi Ko - we've seen reports about the heat wave you are having - and what makes it worse for you is that you probably don't have the air cons, swimming pools etc that many aussies have. So it's ice to the rescue - maybe ice cream and beer too? I hope it cools down for you soon! Cheers Rob

I can see what you mean with the crop of the yellow post - I don't quite know why I left it in - I think I was interested in it because it gave it a bit of a "frame in a frame" feel and I liked that little slither of sunset that it trapped?
