There is a fabulous restaurant in Portland, OR, that has desserts to die for and they have a decoration on the plate that comes with one of their cakes that looks just like this with lemon custard sauce and raspberry sauce. Yum
Very decorative result, with smooth curves,a texture feeling, and a nice colour arrangement. I think it is good that you have left the bottom right corner empty.
