ADVENTURE

Some people were adventurous enough to take the longer, much harder and treacherous, but cheaper, climb to the summit of Mount Snowdon on foot. It was amazing, watching them from the comfort of the train how they managed to put their feet forward contrasted by the very strong winds. The 3 in the picture – 2 no longer very young – were really struggling to go up the mountain. Thank God it didn’t rain also because there was nowhere where they could shelter.

My high School friends and I are planning a reunion in Macchu Picchu-Peru next summer ....wish we could do the Inka trails on foot !!!
