Michaela started her Christmas holidays today. She had to spend the day with us and so, in the morning, I took her to Valletta to see some crib shows. This crib is exhibited by a private individual at the entrance hall of the Ministry for Social Policy and Education. The crib is based on the Napolitan style ( from Naples, Italy). It covers a whole wall of the room, some 15feet long. The actual nativity scene is at the top surrounded with angels.
There are many other cribs scattered across the whole of Malta; some of these are even mechanised with moving figures and flowing waters.
I WISH TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO WISH ALL 365ers, ESPECIALLY MY REGULAR FOLLOWERS, AND IN PARTICULAR (MY FAVOURITE) JENNIFER CARR WHO HAS BEEN WITH ME SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING OF MY PROJECT, A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS FULL OF JOY AND SERENITY.
