ALL SET by sangwann

ALL SET

My wife has everything ready to celebrate Christmas night with my close family – my son, Jean-Pierre, his wife, Louise and daughter Michaela, and my daughter, Denise and her husband, Ian. JP and Ian are both 365ers. Hopefully we will start the evening by going to Mass, which is at 8.30pm,to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and then straight to my house to wait for Father Christmas, exchange presents and have a family party. The cakes and logs are my wife’s making – other goodies are stored in the kitchen.
In previous years, when Michaela wasn’t here, we used to go to Midnight Mass and make a feast after that. But Michaela (and very often even her mum now) slept much before the mass was finished so we have discontinued the midnight mass and instead we go to mass earlier.

For those who wish to see the result of my ‘gulbiena’ project, I invite you to look out for my picture of tomorrow, Christmas Day.
Merry Christmas Dione! but why are you giving presents to everyone else when it is Jesus' birthday?
