What better way to spend a hot summer evening, than to sit at a table and have dinner along with some good wine, facing the sea and watching the world go by while enjoying the soft breeze coming in from the sea! I took this shot last Thursday at Marsalforn in Gozo. The time was around 11.30pm after we had been to an English-type pub having a meal and watching the football match in which Italy beat Germany. When we were ready we had a stroll arount the seaside promenade from where I took the shot.
Marsalforn is the main summer resort in Gozo. Many Gozitans leave in the city and have summer residences in Marsalforn where in summer they go as frequently as they can. In winter the place is quite quiet with many of the restaurants that line the waterfront shut down.
Thank you so very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday's picture.
Cool shot! Looks like a great place to dine out, when you have a sea view, and sea breezes, to enjoy! 8) In my country, you can usually tell the locals apart from the visitors, because the locals don't dine out. We always choose to sit inside where there's air-conditioning! We have terrible heat and humidity all year round (and if it's cooler it's because it's raining) so we're not fans of being outside. XD
