ORANGE DELIGHT by sangwann

ORANGE DELIGHT

This big bush is in my front yard. Very often I think of cutting it down but when I see it in full bloom, it is to much a joy to consider doing that. Anybody has an inclining of the name of it - I don't know, I got a cutting from some place and planted it in my garden and it quickly took root.

thank you so very much for looking and for your wonderful comments on yesterday's picture

It has nice Autumn colors so it would be a shame to get rid of it.

Oh no- don't cut it down! Perhaps trim it, it it is too large, but it's too lovely to destroy. I agree with Anne, it looks like something in the rhododendron family to me. Beautiful shot.

Don't worry I will not cut the bush down - not after such profusion of flowers. I do not think this could be a Rhododendron because I do not think these plants can thrive in our type of climate and soil. I have to study more on Pyrrhula's suggestion.
