A final two shots from the many I took of the cathedral and its museum in Ragusa Ibla.
• On the left is the cathedral organist practising his music.
• On the right is a picture of a life-size door which we saw in the museum. I cannot date this artistic piece but in seven panels it shows the seven sorrows of the Virgin Mary and in the eighth panel is a description in Latin.

When I go into these beautiful cathedrals, It is such a strange feeling to come over you. Just to sit there and think of the history contained in this building
My goodness that organ is awesome!! I can imagine what it must sound like with a good tocatta and fugue coursing through its pipes! Such beautiful artwork on the door too.
