Jeff, muttering to himself: “Death; death; death. Death is a great way to stop this clock tick-tocking in my head. Look at those two staring at me as if they haven’t seen a gull before”
Nick: “Hey, Jeff. Long time, no see! How’s life?”
Tick – no reply.
Nick (louder): “Jeff. How’s Life?”
Tock - again no reply.
Nick, shouts at the top of his voice: “Jeff! ……. Jeff!”
Jeff: “What, …. what!! Oh it’s you Nick. I’m so tired, Nick. I hate all this fuss about us. Look at that couple over there – they have been staring at me ever since I landed here. One must have some peace to stop this continuous tick-tocking in my head.”
Nick: “What are you saying, Jeff? They’re just tourists relaxing in the shade. You look so downcast, Jeff. I don’t remember you like this – you used to be so jovial!”
Jeff: “To be honest, Nick, I am fed up of this life. I would welcome death were it to come now.”
Nick: “My gosh, Jeff. First the quarrel with that harmless paparazzi, then the boy with his pet bird and now this. It is all in your head, my friend. You do need help - and immediately!
Jeff: “Perhaps I do, Nick. But, please, Nick. I don’t want to see a vet, I dislike them. Better to die than go to an animal doctor.”
Nick: “As you wish Jeff. Leave it to me, I will arrange something for you. But don’t do anything foolish in the meantime.”

Oh poor Jeff! I hope Nick's plans involve ice cream. Ice cream always makes me feel better! Great processing here- the two pictures really fit well together.
