Taken on 15th August, 2013 from the roof of my daughter’s house on the feast of The Assumption of the Holy Virgin to heaven – commonly known in Malta as Santa Maria.
I wanted to capture sunset but was late in arriving at her house - when the sun was down and the flags had been lowered, leaving light festoons to decorate roofs in Mosta. The dome of the Mosta church dominates the skyline. The fireworks are just preliminary shots. Will show more tomorrow.
