22nd August. Our first visit for the day was this lovely traditional farm run by this lovely family. The farmhouse is said to be 150 year-old country house which has been restored and refurbished in the traditional way.
The family were there to meet us in their traditional costumes and the ladies had trays with local delicacies which they distributed to the visitors. After a tour of the place we were invited to taste the local ‘Cviček ‘ wine ( don’t ask me how to pronounce it) and salami – both lovely to taste. Cviček wine has a low alcohol content which doesn’t get you drunk or gives you headaches after overdrinking. I can prove that from the amount I drank later.
