Another shot of the Middle Sea Race.
This is one of the groups of yachts that have started their way out of the harbour. The day was sunny and bright, there was a breeze but no strong winds to hamper the yachts’ nmanouvering in the restricted area of the harbour.
There were many others with a camera in hand to capture the occasion. The one in the shot is Ian, my son-in-law. We went there together and I wanted to include him in the photo to give more life and scale to the shot. My camera looks so uninteresting compared to his – I sometimes feel like hiding it when he’s there, haha.

Including Ian in the shot was a great idea, you've definitely achieved your intention, I think, and there's a sense of anticipation with all the yachts grouped together and jockeying for position.
