These are some of the shots I took of the various crews. I especially loved how the guy in the middle row, second from right was dressed up for the race – he doesn’t seem too much perturbed for the occasion. There were yachts coming from different European countries. I saw also at least one crew coming from the US and another showing the flag of South Africa. The first boat to cross the finishing line was the ‘Morning Glory’ – the boat in the middle - handled by a German crew. However, the overall winner, after a complex point-awarding system – I presume internationally acknowledged - was the Italian yacht B2.
Thank you very much for looking and for your wonderful comments on yesterday’s picture.
What a wonderful collage you have put together Dione, such interesting shots. I really like the symmetry of the collage - very well thought out indeed.
What a lovely collage! You really did get some awesome shots. I missed it this year as I had other commitments, but I love taking photos of these boats! Well done
The entire collage is such a great tribute to all those hard working teams. And the theme of the ships and water throughout gives it such a beautiful look.
Trying to get caught up, so rather than comment on each, will just say what a great series, well done. Love the collage! And thank you for your visits and comments!
