It did, it did – all through the morning and then sporadically for the rest of the day.
I had planned to go and capture some shots of an expected rough sea, according to the weather forecast which was expecting even a hailstorm. I got into the car with the camera and off to Sliema to find the best location for taking some shots. The rain did not let me out of the car and the sea wasn’t as rough as I was expecting, so there was nothing else to do but turn back home. I had already set the approximate aperture and speed on the camera for any eventuality that cropped up. So on the way home I snapped some shots with one hand on the camera and the other on the steering wheel. There wasn’t much traffic around, being Saturday and a dreary day, so I could concentrate on both. Luckily no traffic police or wardens were around. This is the shot I selected. Posted completely sooc.
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments and your fav's on yesterday's picture.
@artseyanne You asked me where the gulls were in April. Well they were afraid of your coming and flew to some other place while you were here (haha). No, actually they move close to land when the weather gets tough in winter, otherwise we do not see any in Summer.
