ONE BROWN BEAR by sangwann

ONE BROWN BEAR

Day 3 of our Tuscany holiday.

No, there's nothing wrong with my eyes - that is the same bear. I liked the pose of the bear foraging among the grass but his face wasn't showing. So, what did I do? I had this other shot of him (among many) which had glass reflections on the body but not on the head. Photoshop came into good use and here is the result.
If I am not mistaken (I rarely am, haha) this is the European brown bear which is smaller than it's counterpart, the American version.
I said earlier that this day was for Max (my grandson) but it was for the whole family. We went to the Pistoia zoo and had a great time - it had been ages since I went to a zoo and apart from my aching bones I felt like a child. More shots to follow.
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday's picture.
How amazingly clever

I did read that in France, the brown bear could be found in the hills! I didn't know this but kept away from the hills anyway!

We have Black Bears here and they can get quite large- up to 500 or more lbs. I'm not sure what that is in kilos but you know it's big when one of them knocks over your dumpster! Nice job on the photo-merging!
