Tuscany – Day 7. Best viewed large, if you have time, thank you.
Young man: “Hey, basker, how about I take your shot and then you take mine?”
Basker: “Shut up, fool! I’m a statue, I mustn’t move.”
Young man: “Well then let’s make a fool of ourselves. I will take a shot of us both, together.”
Basker: “Hmmm, I’m a statue, I can’t move.”
Young man: “But at least you can give us a smile!........... Is that all the smile you can give? Well better than nothing at least. Here goes.”
Saw this guy fooling around with this basker. The slight smile on the baskers face gives him up as he looks like he’s enjoying this. Bet, he would have preferred seeing the guy throwing some money in his hat, though. This is in one of the streets leading out of the Campo dei Miracoli, Pisa.

I have seen these guys all around Italy and didn't know they were called baskets until now. Glad to know what to call them. Do you know why they are called that? cute shot!
