The weather forecast predicted that we would have rain during our weekend in Gozo but we only had a few drops.
I took this shot from the ferry as soon as we left Cirkewwa (the Malta landing place) for Gozo for our weekend break at my sister’s holiday apartment in Gozo (part of the Cirkewwa breakwater with the lantern at its tip is still visible on the left). The time was 5,00pm and the sun was still shining bright.
I took this shot in low key to bring out the light reflection of the sun on the water. I got what I wanted and also captured the beautiful rays of the sun. To me it looks like the star which led the 3 kings to Bethlehem.
