We arrived at my sister’s apartment in Gozo when the sun had started to dip behind the hills. While I left the others to settle themselves down in the apartment, I went out to look for some sunset-shooting opportunities (not without Christine’s grumbling). I saw these red clouds covering the sky over Ir-Ramla l-Hamra (The Red Sandy Beach) or, as most of us call it, simply ir-Ramla, making an atmosphere which looked so surreal. After a few minutes I had to rush back to the apartment as it starting raining. It was over in a minute or two though and only a few drops fell.
