Last Saturday, Christine and I paid a visit to the ‘miraculous’ statue of Christ the Redeemer in the parish church of l-Isla ( Senglea); l-Isla is close to Bormla. On the way we saw the Bormla parish church all lit up for its festa. It made a magnificent sight from l-Isla, only about 1km away. I immediately took some shots. This is one of them.
The festa was held yesterday, Monday. The parish church of Bormla ( also known as Cospicua) is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of Mary. This is the only festa that falls during the winter months; the others are celebrated in summer or late spring.
Thank you very much for looking and for the lovely comments and the fav's on yesterday's picture.
A great capture of this nice church beautiful lighted. Fav.
Our country is for a big part overpopulated . I don`t like to be/go there although all of my family lives there. I prefer the country. To give you an idea of the size, most pic.`s are taking within a one hour drive. . The biggest distance in our country is 4 hours at the most.
Rain you need to grow the crops. you better can like it as it comes as it pleased it self.
