Shot taken on 29th June – fourth day of our vacation. Please view large if you have time, thank you.
Ian stubbornly wanted to take Max on this new ride at Europa Park, introduced in 2014. So they went while we waited in this cavern-looking building of the ride. Lights were very low but I managed some lovely shots of the place. In this shot, Christine and Denise patiently wait on a bench while I roam around.
Joke: The Pope dies and goes to heaven. When he gets there, Saint Peter shows him to his new quarters - a tiny one bedroom apartment.
The Pope is horrified and demands to know why he doesn't have the penthouse apartment, which is huge.
Saint Peter informs him that the resident of the penthouse is a lawyer.
"A lawyer," says the Pope. "But I'm the Pope, surely I'm more important than a lawyer!"
"With respect Sir," says Saint Peter, "We have lots of Pope's up here, but we only have ONE lawyer!"
Thank you so much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday's picture.
Looks like a great place, they've done such a good job. Went to the Europa Park a couple of times in the early 90's when we lived near Karlsruhe and the children were small. Also went back when they were older and then we really made the most of all the big coasters!
Really like the lighting in here and especially on black!!! My husband never sits patiently!! He goes off on his own and makes me find him when I'm done!! Even though he says "I'll be right here!" LOL FAV!
