SAY IT WITH FLOWERS – STRASBOURG

Shot taken on 30th June – the 5th day of our vacation to the Black Forest.

Took this shot while we were crossing a bridge to the Grande Ile – the historic centre of Strasbourg. I love these half-timbered houses and in Strasbourg there are loads of them.

Joke: A truck driver was driving into Strasbourg when a sign came up that read, "LOW BRIDGE AHEAD". Before he knew it the bridge was right ahead of him and he got stuck under the bridge. Cars are backed up for miles.

Finally, a police car came up. The gendarme got out of his car and walked around to the truck driver, put his hands on his hips and said, "Got your truck stuck, huh?"

The truck driver said, "No, I was delivering this bridge and ran out of gas.
