THE FORCE OF NATURE

Shot taken on 5th July, 2015 – the 10th and final day of our Black Forest vacation. Enlarge for best view, if you have time – thank you.

People across the river from where I was look in awe at part of the Rhine Falls. We visited these river falls on our way to Zurich for our evening return flight to Malta. The Rhine Falls are located in Switzerland and are the biggest falls in Europe.

More shots of this spectacular part of Switzerland to follow.

Joke: Joe was a single guy living at home with his sick father and working in the family business. He knew that when his father died he would be inheriting a fortune. He felt lonely and wanted a wife with whom to share his life and his future fortune.

One of Joe’s favourite pastimes was to go on holiday at least 2 -3 times a year. While, this time, holidaying in Switzerland he decided it was the right time to find the right person with whom to spend the rest of his life. He was admiring the spectacle of the Rhine Falls when he saw next to him the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Her beauty took his breath away. “I may look like just an ordinary man,” he said to her, “but in just a few years, my father will pass, and I’ll inherit his large fortune.”
Impressed, the woman asked Joe for his business card. Three months later, she became Joe’s stepmother.

Thank you very much for looking and for all your kind and lovely comments on yesterday's picture.

Those falls look most definitely awe-inspiring! The force you've captured here reminds me of Niagara Falls. Great shot! And no problem with the comments on women and our talkativeness- if it sounded like I was upset, I wasn't, I was just having fun as well. Smiles all around!
