From the 4rd day of our Sicily holiday - 22st September, 2015.
On the right of this collage you can see Max getting all wet in the water. I couldn’t resist going in, too. So I rolled up as much as I could my trouser legs and in I went, camera and all – proof is in the bottom right shot. The pebbly bottom wasn’t very good for walking on and I was afraid I’d slip and drop the camera. The water was cold but gave a wonderful sensation after you came out of it. The left shot is a closer view of the the spectacular waterfall dropping down into the river as well as the rock formation.
Joke: A rafting guide walks into a bar, tells the bartender “Man, what a rough day. I’m parched, gimme a beer, a whiskey.” Bartender brings the guy an ice cold beer, and a shot of whiskey. The raft guide looks at him, and says “No, man, not both. Just one, the other. I just wanted either a beer, a whiskey.” The bartender was totally confused and pretty annoyed, and says “buddy, you aren’t making any sense at all, what do you want to drink?”. The raft guide says “Oh, yeah. Sorry about that, like I said it was a rough day. We flipped over a raft going down the river and I lost all my OR’s”…
Many thanks for looking and for the lovely comments and the fav's on yesterday's picture.
A wonderful triptych -- love the main image of the waterfall -- beautiful tones and textures -a lovely capture of Max enjoying and investigating the water !! and you tentatively dipping your toes !!
Lovely triptych, I particularly like the shot of Max, he's obviously having fun and that motion blur works really well.
The rock formation is stunning, I would love to go there for real.
I always go to the city center by bike. A place is difficult to find and the parking rates are sky high in our county. , In Amsterdam nearly € 5 per hour
