ĠNEJNA WATCH TOWER by sangwann

ĠNEJNA WATCH TOWER

Two shots of this tower, the one on the right taken later during the morning when I saw people looking down at the bay. You may remember I have posted other shots of similar towers in other localities. In the 17th century the Knights of Malta erected towers all round the Island each visible to the one on the right and that on the left to serve as an early warning system in case of assault by enemy invaders or corsairs. Some of these towers no longer exist but others, like this one, are still a relic of the past.
Joke: A man, his wife and a good-looking stranger are stranded on a desert island. The wife quickly loses interest in her husband and begins flirting with the good-looking stranger.

The three start to build a watchtower. The stranger offers to take first watch. While the husband and wife gather driftwood on the sand, the stranger yells, "Hey! No sex on the beach! Get back to work!"

The husband yells back, "We're not having sex!"

Later, the stranger yells out to them again. Again, the husband yells back and corrects him. This happens several times during the stranger's shift.

Finally, the husband takes his shift in the watch tower. His wife and the good-looking stranger make passionate love on the beach.

The husband on watch exclaims, "Wow, it really does look like people having sex from up here.”
Many thanks for looking and for the lovely comments and the fav's on yesterday's picture.
