On Christmas Eve we went to hear the 6.00pm mass at St Julians Parish Church and I took the camera with me. We were early in church and I was about to take a shot of the Nativity scene which covered the large altar of the church when this girl came in and sat down in the pew just in front of me. I took the shot and I liked the presence of the girl as it gives size to the scene. The manger is empty, as you can see – Baby Jesus is placed there during midnight mass.
JOKE: It was a cold and misty Christmas night in the very depth of Winter after a heavy fall of snow and only one farmer and the minister managed to arrive at the church for the service. “Well”, said the clergyman “'I guess there's no point in having a service today.” “Well that's not how I see it,” said the farmer. “If only one cow turns up at feeding time, I still feed it.'
Thank you very much for looking and for all the lovely comments and fav's on yesterday's picture.
