This knight in armour seemed to be saying to us, poor folk. “You will do that only over my dead body”.
We left the main square of Mdina and walked through this narrow street to one of the city gates in the direction where we had our car parked. I saw this ‘Black Knight’ walking in front of us in the same direction and jokingly I shouted to him: “The battle is on the other side of the city – are you running away?” He stopped and turned round; he was a big guy and almost filled the narrow street with his figure. I don’t think he liked the joke because he just looked at us without saying a single word – I couldn’t see his expression under his helmet but imagined he was frowning at my remark. So I timidly said: “Just joking”, and swiftly passes around him to continue our walk to the car.
This is my last shot of the event. Hope you did like the series.
Many thanks for your follows and for all the wonderful comments, fav's and for putting many of my Medieval Mdina shots on tp and pp. You are all great.
