NEW LEADER

After a gruesome and thrilling stage yesterday, the Tour de France has a new leader.
Do you recognise that face? No? I thought you wouldn’t.
Let me tell you this story then.
First and foremost I had no intention of posting pictures taken from the tv of the Tour but circumstances decided otherwise.
You will know that both my children together with their spouses and my two grandchildren went to Euro Disney. The two families went there separately though during the same period. First to be back was my daughter’s family last Tuesday while my son’s family came on Wednesday. And who was the taxi-driver who collected them from the airport. Naturally, it was their father (and at no charge).
Wednesday, Denise (my daughter) came over to our house to see her mum and to give us souvenirs she had bought for us during a short stay in Paris.
And I couldn’t believe my eyes when she brought out this Tour de France cap with the official logo and said it was for me. I was never happier to receive a souvenir in my whole life.
Now you can guess who the new Tour leader in my photo is.
Yesterday, Chris Froome gave a big kick in the a**e to the other contenders. He has a great team around him, too.

we are watching religiously as well :) beautiful landscape to be seen today - Andorra. Yes, Froome was amazing how he went down the hill (haha hill) at 90km/h and still pedalling .... jeez :D glad you enjoyed your souvenir so much

I've never been a big cycling fan although I'm always curious to see who wins the Tour. It truly is a grueling race, so I think the winner deserves all the accolades that go with it. Great souvenir!
