The main road was closed to traffic on the occasion of the parish feast of Balluta. The road was full of people looking around or buying/eating food from the many mobile kiosks that came to earn some good money. Close to the church the parish band was giving a concert while the procession with the statue of the Madonna went round the old streets of the parish.

Beautiful Dione , it must be a wonderful atmosphere with the hustle bustle of the crowds and the music of the band adding to the atmosphere of it all -- love these bands playing in the open air !!
