Everything that makes a Maltese 'festa' where there: lots of people, lots of food, lights and decorations, the band, ect but the ingredient that makes a Maltese 'festa' that makes the 'festa' spectacular was missing. A 'festa' without fireworks is not a 'festa' at all and the Balluta parish feast had very little fireworks for the occasion. This is one rare shot I took even though I was well prepared for the spectacle.
Yesterday, I made up for this as I went to watch the spectacular fireworks of Lija and took many shots. I will show you a few after I have processed them on the pc.
Tomorrow I will continue my picture account of our holiday.
