It was the last night of our stay in Zell am See. The following morning we had to rise very early, take a pre-packed breakfast for our long trip to Munich Airport for our return flight to Malta. So I wanted to enjoy our last evening there but Christine was more interested in packing our luggage – and neatly, too – so she stayed in the hotel while I went to do the rounds with my camera.
There was some sort of festival going on with all the shops open till late at night and hordes of people strolling around the town centre and popping in and out of the shops. In the square there was a band playing and lots of youngsters, beer in hand, singing and dancing. Of the many shots I took, I liked best this one of these guys fooling around the fountain in the centre of the square.
And with this shot I come to the end of my vacation story. I have tried to be concise but it was difficult, as always, to sort out a few shots from the over 1500 pictures that I took during the trip. I hope it was interesting and enjoyable to you as much as I enjoyed posting shots/narrating our vacation.
