We were at the Granaries in Floriana again on 20th September to attend a political activity organised by the Nationalist Party on the eve of Independence Day. The Nationalist Party is in opposition during this legislation. The camera was with me as you may expect.
Through the throngs of people I saw the the bell towers of St Publius church, the parish church of Floriana and together with the tv camera I thought it made for a good picture. The lady looking towards me is an addition to the picture. I think she was wondering why I was pointing the camera at her.
The Granaries is the biggest square in Malta. It is called this because underneath are large rock-cut wells where grain used to be stored – not anymore. If you ever see the ‘Isle of MTV’ which is once a year held in Malta and attracts thousands of youngsters you will see the place with the church lit up in the background and that is something you cannot miss.
Three cheers for Malta’s under 21 team for another win in three days – 3 – 2 against Moldovia. But our national side flopped again playing away this time against Lithuania by 2 – 0. We had high hopes of getting a win but they were horrible when on the attack. However, up to the 80th minute the score was still 0 – 0 but but Lithuania scored two goals within a few minutes of each other (one of them a penalty).
Thank you so much for your viewing, comments and fav's.
Yes, she does seem to be thinking that you're snatching a picture of her. It's an interesting shot because of all the things in it as well as her expression. And thank you so much for your recent favs in my project!
