The promenade around St Julian’s, especially the area round the St Julian’s Waterpolo Club felt the brunt of last Friday’s storm. too. The club itself and a supermarket across the road suffered a lot of damage. A lot of damage was reported all over the north of Malta especially in coastal areas with boats that had not been taken up to higher ground being sunk or smashed on the rocks.
