MDINA - ANOTHER OF THOSE NARROW STREETS

Another of the medieval narrow streets in Mdina. On the right is an arched opening which leads out of Mdina and that is one of the only three exists of Mdina. Next to it is a stairway leading to nowhere. In the old days it may have led to the top of the ramparts.
I had my tablet with me in Gozo but I couldn't connect to internet to post my shots and comment.

I love medinas. I went to the one in Stone Town, Zanzibar many years ago and got wonderfully lost!
