Back home after a lovely weekend – will be recounting that as soon as I manage to upload the pictures I took and process them on my computer.
In the meantime I am posting shots from Sunday before yesterday. It was the feast of Our Lady of Good Health. There is a strong devotion for The Holy Virgin under this title; we ‘presented’ our daughter, Denise, to Our Lady under this title 42years ago.
The feast is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of October and we have been attending mass on the occasion for decades. It was my parents who started this habit and we used to bring them to this celebration which would serve us as a day out with them, including lunch and a walk around Rabat where the church is situated.
This is a shot of the church dressed for the feast. The church which is small and is a subsidiary to the parish church of Rabat is run by Franciscan Friars who have a monastery next to it.
Many thanks for all your views, comments and favs. Always much appreciated.
