NOTO

From our Sicily holiday – Day 4 – 25th August, 2018

I have been to Sicily, our closest neighbor, quite a few times but never to Noto. This is Noto’s main street and it is full of beautiful buildings and an amazing number of churches, mostly all in baroque style.

I took this shot from the roof of the Santa Chiara Monastery which could be visited for a small fee/donation. At the time workers ( or, maybe, volunteers) were preparing for the parish festa.
Thank you so much for your views, comments and fav's.
Very interesting place

Great view- I always find the contrast of the old buildings and modern people so interesting. We could be looking back in time but we're not! Good shot.
