A GRAND ALTAR

From our Sicily holiday – Day 4 – 25th August, 2018.
One last shot from our day spent at Noto. So many others will remain in my album without being exhibited anywhere. Noto and its churches are so unique that they were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002.
This is the grand altar of the Noto Cathedral dedicated to St Nicholas.
