REPUBLIC DAY IN QORMI

As I already mentioned, 13 th December is Republic Day and a holiday in Malta.
After some time taking pictures at the Marsa horse-racing track I went to Qormi, an old town a few km away. I parked the car and went for a walk along the old streets of Qormi. In this shot I am showing a small square (or just a small opening between the buildings of this narrow street. There is a market cross, a stone statue f St Joseph with Baby Jesus and Maltese flags flapping in the wind. For Republic Day all those who have a flagpole on their roof raised the Maltese flag which is very nice to see.
