On the opposite side of the train station I showed yesterday there are the quarters of the Hamrun scouts section. In there there was an exhibition with a miniature display of a train arriving at the Hamrun station. I took a couple of shots of the display but they are not worth showing as I couldn’t get the right focus.
But at the exhibition there was a fabulous dislay, only a few pieces, of small engineering works all done by hand. The precision in the manufacture of the parts and how they work was unbelievable.
In this collage I am showing some of the works displayed. They are steam engines but, Instead of steam, for obvious reasons, the machines are worked by gas The lower right picture shows also the proud maker of some of the items on display.. He is an ex-dockyard engineer and I asked him to pose for me besides his works and he consented. Later I emailed him this picture, too, and he liked it.
Thank you so much for looking and for the comments and fav’s on yesterday’s picture.

Steam engines priciple is to turn presure into moves. Not the heat. This you need to get the preasure. So pressed air do the job as good as steam and you do n`t have a fire what exhibition do n`t like inside. .
To show and work I alway`s uses compressed air
