Since the Azure Window at Dwejra – a very popular spot with tourists and Maltese - crumbled into the sea, Gozitans are promoting this ‘new window’ which almost nobody knew about before. But the place is so less attractive than the Dwejra one. However, it is popular with upsailors as you can see.
Having said that, this is one of the shots I took when I arrived there. I wanted to take the footpath to sea level for, perhaps, better pictures of the ‘window’ but a gate barred the way down.
Amazing place - and those foolhardy humans so near the edge ! - makes my legs wobble even looking at them ! Glorious colour tones and rough textures of the rocks against that azure blue sea - A stunning place and capture ! fav
