Ħal- Għaxaq village square is right in front of the parish church from where the “Passion” procession starts and ends. For a couple of euros one could ‘hire’ one of those chairs to watch the procession in comfort – not for me when I have my camera with me. I couldn’t decide which of these two shots to post so you get them both. Top photo taken before the beginning of the procession, bottom one during the procession.

I like the two together as they tell a nice story of anticipation and parade (if that is appropriate to call them?). I actually think you probably see more standing but the chairs are a nice addition for those who can't stand that long. Good collage!
